Shanitah is a nicely dressed young lady with a pleasant smile. She is 11 years old and in the 4th grade. Shanitah lives with her mother and father and four siblings in Kyankere village, a long distance from Mweruka Junior School. Her parents work in people’s gardens to support their family. Regular attendance and walking such a long distance to school speaks to her desire to learn and her dream of becoming a doctor.
